Liability can be difficult to prove in a slip and fall case. It is important to get contact information of any witnesses and to document the incident by taking pictures if possible. In addition, if the slip and fall occurs inside a retail store, it’s important to report the slip and fall to management and fill out an incident report and retain a copy of the report for your own records.
